The roles and responsibilities shall include :

- Design human resources practices and regulations, as well as present any proposals for changes to senior management and oversee implementation.

- Manage the day to day operations of the human resources department.

- Oversee and ensure rewards programs are comprehensive, competitive, and align with business goals.

- Develop and improve recruiting practices and succession planning strategies.

- Account for and maintain human resources disciplines such as compensation, benefits, training, talent acquisition, and diversity.

- Communicate frequently with departmental and executive stakeholders to understand the unique needs of our workforce.

- Ensure that all the registrations/ renewals under various labour /other enactments are complied with 
timely

- Manage the contractors effectively and ensure seamless manpower supply; amiability to handle ramp up and ramp down models of manpower supply without any legal/ operational hiccups.

- Exhaustive knowledge and hands on experience in handling labour /laws/ authorities in a production/ large scale operations environment

- The right skilled manpower is made available to the business needs without any interruption within the budgeted cost.

- The operation units are supported totally as needed from time to time from the Personnel perspective

- Designing and successfully implementing appropriate learning and development programmes

- Ability to put in place and run the proven, viable succession planning, employee engagement and performance management programmes.

- Ensure the top management buy in for all the innovative HR initiatives and implement them successfully.

- As a leader of our HR team, he must drive the company culture and what makes us an amazing place to work.

- Proven experience in designing human resources practices and regulations are must.

- The candidate will additionally demonstrate strong business acumen and general management experience and capabilities that enable him to effectively assess the internal business environment and deliver transformative change where necessary.

Education :

- The Chief Human Resources Officer must have a master's degree in Human Resources;

- Additional qualification in Labour Law, Degree in Law are preferred and will have edge in consideration

Experience :

- A candidate for this position will have at least 18 years of post-qualification working experience in a senior Human Resources position, preferably working in the level of VP/SVP/General Manager Head of HR Administration.

- He must have worked in the Logistics and supply chain domain for at least 10 years of the total experience

- The Chief Human Resources Officer will also have had proven and successful experience delivering innovative HR programs within a fast paced, evolving, and wide organizational setting. The candidate must also have had success managing a human resources team through a program and all the way to its completion and attainment of objectives.

- The candidate will also have experience in policy formulating, development, and implementation of key HR strategies, total compliance management, thorough in all labour enactments and procedures.
