About:


- Our Client is looking for a CFO who can manage the accounting and financial operations while being proactive and well-rounded.


- You need to know every position from the ground up and be able to start from the ground if necessary.


- In order to achieve strict deadlines and provide 100% accurate data, you must take full ownership of your accounting and financial responsibilities with analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and control all accounting operations including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition

- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances

- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

- Analyze the expenditure on a monthly basis to control expenses.

- Manage and comply with India and state Government regulatory and statutory compliances and tax filings

- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

- Prepare & submit various MIS reports, Monthly Income and Expense report, Monthly Payable /Receivable, Monthly Cash flow and other operational report for site.

- Present a true & fair view of the financial position of the plant by way of timely preparation of annual reports.

- Finalization of accounts as per Indian accounting standards, responsible for timely completion of statutory audit and finalization of annual balance sheet

- All statutory compliance related to Direct taxes, Indirect taxes, Withholding tax, TDS, FEMA, Imports, Exports and Banking etc.

- Handle banking compliance related to preparation of bank guarantees, reconciliations, timely furnishing of various documents as required by the bank.

- Participate in the creation and implementation of Accounting Standard Operating Procedures.

- Monitor and implement plant internal controls (in conjunction with corporate policies) as necessary to ensure reporting integrity, safeguard company assets, and identify risks.

- Estimate product costs to support quoting activities

- Collaborates with General Manager, Plant accountants and senior management to explain results, make improvements, manage projects, identify inefficiencies, understand operations and lead the development of complex analysis.

- Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed.

- Participate and assist in continually improving profitability through cost control, driving topline revenue, and process improvements.

- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Education & Experience:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant with a minimum 15 year post qualification work experience.

- 8-10 years in a senior position of a midsized / large Company preferably working in a manufacturing organization.

- Candidate must display a good understanding of Indian GAAP, Indian statutory requirements including direct / indirect taxation, and should have hands-on experience of the above areas.

- Candidate must be fully conversant with Budgeting, Forecasting, Cost & Credit Control, Margin Analysis, Costing & Profitability Analysis and Management Reporting.

- Working knowledge of ERP system is a must.

- Strong leadership skills, independent thinking, proven organizational and planning abilities and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.

- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and attention to detail
