- Our USD 4 Bn group client engaged in Marketing and Distribution of Polymers, specialty Polymers, Master Batch Chemicals, Drum Chemicals and Rubber. Indian Subsidiary is doing a turnover of approx 3000 Cr.

Job Description :

Work Location : Mumbai

Reports to : Board of Directors

2. The position will have frequent interaction with the US team and also Accounts and finance teams of 10-12 countries & hence Fluency & articulation in communication is a must with good mannerism & etiquette.

3. Client has no manufacturing activity in any country. Hence candidates are preferred from large distribution organisations. If profiles are not available from large distribution organisations, then the persons must be from manufacturing companies (NO NO from NBFC, Insurance, Banking, ITES, IT, any other service industry)

4. Age : Max 46 years. Current salary should NOT be less than 65 Lakhs.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

1. OBJECTIVE :

- The positions reports to Management and assists them on strategic and tactical matters related to companies growth plans, policies and processes, statutory and regulatory compliance, acquisitions, joint ventures, etc. for the company in India.

- Overall responsibility for managing/overseeing Finance, Accounts, Business plan/MIS, Direct and Indirect taxation, Customer Credit, Statutory and Regulatory Compliance, Legal and participate in Mergers and Acquisitions /Joint venture activities.

2. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Strategic participation :

a. Participate and assist in formulating the company's corporate strategic plan, growth plans and achievement of performance targets.

b. Monitor and direct the implementation of corporate strategic objective and business plans.

c. Develop and maintain financial and tax strategies, including Treasury and Forex management.

d. Develop and maintain performance measures, data analytics that support the company's vision, mission and direction.

e. Develop and maintain systems that confidentiality is maintained at all levels in the organization and by all participants.

f. Introduction of best business practices and best business benchmarks.

g. Use of IT as a business enabler, process improvement, ease of doing business, speed and accuracy and real time data analysis for business decisions.

h. Participate in key business decision making with Management.

Functional and Operating :

a. Finance, Accounts and Treasury (including exposure to foreign exchange management).

b. Business Planning, MIS and Reviews.

c. Direct and Indirect Taxation, other applicable laws, including employee/labor related.

d. Customer credit management and customer credit insurance.

e. Marine/cargo and other insurances.

f. Merger & Acquisitions and Joint Ventures.

g. Legal and Compliance (statutory, regulatory and applicable compliance).

h. Business related commercial and other negotiations.

Manage/Oversee the aforesaid functional areas with the objective of :

a. Formulating and implementing sound financial management policies, processes and systems that ensures effective control and accountability.

b. Optimum use of available resources.

c. Adherence to company policies and applicable statutory, regulatory and compliance framework across levels.

d. Realtime record maintenance, timely completion/presentation of various information/reports, e.g. Annual Audited Accounts, Annual business plan, MIS reports, Head office reporting, reporting to external vendors (Banks/Financial Institutions) etc, including risk reporting and mitigation recommendations.

e. Ensure to have best needed legal documentation for the organization.

f. Hire, develop and train best talent in the organization.

g. Participate in company' s end to end work in organic and inorganic business growth through Acquisitions, Joint ventures and/or any other form of business participation.

h. Discuss and provide feasibility analysis/reports (including recommendations) for business decisions and initiatives.

i. Identification and use of technology as a business enabler on a continuous basis. Approve and monitor major IT projects, IT budgets, priorities, standards, procedures, and overall IT performance.

j. Maintains relationship with external agencies, vendors, auditors, secretarial service providers, rating agencies, Insurance companies, credit insurance providers, Investment and Financial Institutions/lenders.

k. Represent Organization/Group companies with various external agencies/ authorities

REQUIREMENTS/EXPECTATION :

Level of Education :

a. CA

b. Other Professional Qualifications

d. Ability to work concurrently on multiple projects and tasks.

e. Strong analytical skills, with ability to research and reconcile things.

h. Should have prior experience in leading a skilled and experienced team and interacting with vendors and offices located in multiple locations.

i. International business understanding.
