There is an urgent requirement for "CFO - TREASURY MANAGEMENT" for a leading Manufacturing Group in Africa.
Position title: CFO - Treasury Management
Location: West Africa
Experience:
- Should have minimum 10-years experience in treasury management function (essential).
- Relevant experience of working within an international Treasury function exposed to foreign currency, interest rate, and liquidity risk, with proven experience of being able to manage these risks.
Qualification:
- Either Chartered Accountant from ICAI OR MBA in Finance OR CFA / CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) from a reputed institute.
- Knowledge of Navision will be added advantage.
Job Purpose:
This is a strategic position for the Group and responsible for the Treasury Management Group having multiple business units in Nigeria. The position would also evolve into managing accounting and tax management at a later stage but primary responsibility will be to manage the treasury function.
Job Description:
- Management of long and short-term cash flow and working capital/liquidity management.
- Managing overseas cash reporting process.
- Manage all cash management functions including cash concentration, wire transfers, account funding.
- Manage inter-company cash/fund lending, receivables, dividends and capital requirements.
- Forecast income and interest expenses.
- Managing balance sheet and day-to-day liquidity to support the business needs.
- Design and implement hedging strategies to mitigate financial risks and foreign currency cash flow.
- Preparation of board level cash and other risk management reporting.
- Investment of short-term cash surplus in money market instruments, making recommendations to Group CFO.
- Managing day-to-day cash and treasury activities in line with the Delegation of Authority.
