Chief Financial Officer - Retail (15-25 yrs)
Looking at candidates from RETAIL background only.
- Oversees and monitors all strategic matters related to Accounts,
- Financial Statements, Budgets, Cash Flow Forecasting, Taxation and Legal & Secretarial Matters.
- Managing the timely preparation and presentation of statutory books of accounts, balance sheets, ledgers, financial statements and annual reports.
- Preparing funds flow and cash flow statements to monitor the inflow & outflow of funds and ensure optimum utilization of available funds towards the accomplishment of corporate goals.
- Ensuring conformance to regulatory accounting standards.
- Oversee budgeting and the implementation of budgets so as to monitor progress.
- Maintain outside relationships - with Banks, Financial
- Institutions and Investors. ( optional as currently this is handled at group level)
- Maintain internal control safeguards and oversee all audit activities.
- Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the Top Management and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations.
- Monitor all Legal & Secretarial affairs involving the company, and legal issues affecting the industry.
- Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements
- Overseeing Recovery function
- Overseeing Purchase and Contracts function
- CA + LLB Or only CA but having overseen Legal some point of time in his career.
CA mandatory.
- Over 15+ years of experience with proven expertise in Finance & Accounts, Commercial and Legal & Secretarial matters with a mid scale set up. He should be a seasoned and mature leader with evidence of having worked directly / closely with Board of Directors / Top Management of a multi-divisional large organization.
