Chief Financial Officer - Printing/Packaging Industry - CA (12-20 yrs)

Responsibility:

- CFO will handle financials, managing funds, coordinating payments, implementing & maintaining accounting systems and Treasury functions.

- He/She will prepare the monthly/annual financial plan in close co-operation with the Group CFO and the controllers: Accounts Finalization, Monthly Closing and Planning & Budgeting, and preparation, review, quarterly Profit/Loss Statement, Monthly Receivable & Inventory Report.

- The CFO will represent the organization before Local Authorities, State/Central Government and managing various types of assignments.

- The CFO will report to the Managing Director.

- He/She will supervise in addition to all related financial team and activities also Logistics and Order Processing teams.

1. Finance: (Jointly with HQ)

- Accountable for the administrative, financial operations of the company.

- Corporate Taxation and Assessment (Income Tax, Tax Audit).

- Preserve company assets and report accurate financial results to the board of directors and the HQ.

- Quarterly &Half-yearly situations: provide complete balance sheet review following Group rules.

- Statutory audit/Internal audit/stock auditors.

- Cash Flow Statement and Working Capital Management.

- FY Ended 31-03: provide consolidation package and complete balance sheet review following Auditors rules.

- Explain the calculations of all the taxes.

- Maintain banking relationships.

- Proven ability for drafting /vetting various Legal documents including for Banks and Institutional Borrowings.

- Exposure to accounting, standard costing and finalization of books of accounts are necessary requirements.

- Exposure to taxation rules, Corporate Secretarial matters, Treasury matters and Companies Act is an added advantage.

- Knowledge of customs laws is required.

- Develop financial and tax strategies.

- Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction.

- Manage the budgeting processes: personally review budgets, follow up and analyze the variances.

- Every month, provide HQ with a Quarterly Cash Plan.

- Excise, Import & Export documentation and Bank Guarantees and liaise with the Group for Commercial/Legal agreements.

- Controlling experience.

- Monitor all open legal issues involving the company (DRI, Customs).

- Maintain appropriate insurance coverage.

- Maintain appropriate legal records (ensuring that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies).

- Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements: all Statutory Compliances under the provisions of the Companies Act and Rules.

- Report risk issues to the board of directors.

- Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations.

- Monitor relationship with the Company Secretary.

- Supervise, coach and train Finance& Accounting workforce.

2. Logistics

- Responsible for overseeing the inventory management process, defining departmental strategies for appropriate inventory levels, eliminating obsolete and off-spec material, and reduce ageing material.

- Supervising transportation system on domestic freight to ensure that business needs are met.

- Supervise logistics, warehouse and transportation services.

- Ensure track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.

- Support logistics team to arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments.

- To ensure that all processes comply with import and local GST laws, regulations and BIS/ ISO requirement.

- Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce.

3. Order Processing

- Monitoring and evaluation of all order issues.

- Overseeing all order processing-related duties for the company, leading staff to perform all the steps necessary for processing order in a timely, effective manner.

- Overseeing day-to-day order operations procedures.

- Ensuring an appropriate order flow with the compliance to organizational policies.

- Resolving invoice and pricing issues.

- Supervising the process of sales forecast and sales reporting.

- Supervising the compliance of order to delivery process as per the agreed SLA.

Required Profile:

- Hands-on experience in the industry on all related legal matters on Customs/ Excise Laws & labour laws etc. in an international environment.

- An effective communicator with an exceptional relationship and management skill and adept at maintaining cordial business relations with legal counsel and other external agencies.

- Familiarity with ERP and accounting systems (M3) is a plus.

- Highly analytical, detail oriented with financial modelling and reporting skills.

- Extreme diligence and attention to detail is a must.

- C.S.(certification specifications) qualification is an added advantage.

Education:

- Chartered Accountant and Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting

Experience:

- 12-15 years of overall Finance & Accounting experience.

- Must have experience in handling back-end operations.

- Must have experience of working in Multi-National Companies.

Language:

- Good oral and written communication skills in the English language.

- Knowledge of French is a plus.
