A leading NGO in education and skilling space is looking for a CFO position .

Location : Navi Mumbai

Role:

- Role incumbent shall lead the Finance/Accounts and legal function

- Strategic alignment of finance function in line with organizational objectives

- Finalization of accounts

- Timely and accurate donor reporting

- Financial analytics and budgeting

- Cash flow management

- Systems development and automation of processes

Specific Responsibilities:

Management:

- Play the role of a Business Manager providing direction in matters relating to strategies, long range planning, budget, headcount, etc

- Planning for infrastructure in line with envisaged organizational growth

- Execution of projects - space, equipment, systems, etc.

- Develop policies (like travel, entertainment, information security)

- Contract negotiations

- Business Continuity Management

- As a part of the Executive Team, facilitate strategic assistance to the CEO

- Mentor and assist team members with career planning

- Manage performance by establishing and reviewing objectives on a regular basis

Finance:

- Advise on all finance -related matters

- Financial reporting - monthly, quarterly and annual accounts, Budget preparation, Variance reporting

- Proactive solutions for cost management

- Taxation, Government and statutory reporting

- Working Capital Management: includes cash, receivables & cash flow forecasting

- Control over company's assets, liabilities and exposures

Reporting to : Chief Executive Officer

- Staff Reporting Corporate and Regional team of finance and accounts

Profile requirements:

Technical:

- Administrative experience at the top management level. Experience in managing large budgets, finance, contract administration, negotiation and project management

- Good understanding of business laws

- Proficient in technologies relevant to the organization - hardware, operating system, networking, databases, software applications, etc.

Managerial

- Effective leadership - provide vision and inspiration to peers and juniors

- Demonstrate a positive attitude and professional conduct and high ethical standards

- Good negotiation skills

- Good communication skills with ability to converse clearly with senior management & senior stakeholders

- Strong skills in relationship management & conflict management

- Strategic and solution oriented approach

- Decision making - make timely and correct decisions and exhibit sound judgment

- Team player

- Quality Management - continuously looks to improve processes

Qualification and Experience:

- Chartered Accountant by qualification

- 24 year's experience in the similar functions - 5 years must have been in a similar leadership role
