CFO - For A 7000+ cr NBFC

Finance and Accounts

- Drive the Corporate financial planning exercise for the organization

- Undertake budgeting for the organization and monitor the same, highlighting deviations

- Manage treasury operations for the organization

- Ensure timely General Accounting and Reporting

- Ensure that the annual accounts are finalized within the planned time schedule and meet all the accounting norms and standards laid down

- Develop, implement and document a Cost accounting system

- Monitor the statutory and management audits and the financial health of the organization

- Provide an effective tax structuring for the organization to ensure compliance while minimizing tax liability

- Monitor various investments to ensure compliance with SEBI norms

- Support the investment team by providing the necessary inputs during the financial due diligence on the developers / promoters conducted during the project appraisal phase

- Identify various low risk investment instruments, analyze their performance and determine the investment portfolio

- Ensure the investment of idle funds as per the approved investment portfolio

Cash Management and MIS

- Support in conduct of the draw down process by certifying computation of draw down and payout amounts

- Monitor the reconciliation of investor records and collection and computation of penalties for defaulting investors

- Provide CIO with report on commitments and disbursals and need for funds in the following period

- Provide the investment team with trends for NAV and IRR commitments during review of Business Plan

- Advise to the SPV on financial matters such as treasury operations, accounting, taxation and statutory compliances

- Monitor the submission of the following MIS reports to the Management

- Investment portfolio and profits/ dividends earned

- Status of projects invested in and milestone reports

- Returns on capital invested

- Status of capital commitment to SPV

- Advise the Senior Management on portfolio holding strategy based on the short term investment market and performance of existing short term portfolio

- Interface with banks and financial institutions and other stakeholders to identify any concern areas and address the same and drive compliance related to SEBI and other regulatory authorities

- Ensure that the team is adequately staffed as per the manpower requirements

Support Functions Management :

- Monitor the functioning of the Investor Relations team and ensure effective servicing of investor queries / requests

- Manage the organization's resources within the budgetary and compliance framework

- Monitor the overall functioning of the Legal & Compliance team

- Ensure adherence to all statutory compliances and internal norms

- Monitor design and implementation of the HR Strategy to ensure alignment to the organizational vision and mission

- Ensure that all support required by SPVs is provided on a timely basis by the support functions in the organization

- Provide inputs in the development of the compensation philosophy to help attract and retain top talent within the organization

- Foster an environment of learning, excellence and team work across the function

- Percentage adherence to statutory norms by SEBI and other relevant regulations

7. Ensure timely preparation and submission of MIS reports - Timely preparation and submission of various MIS reports to Management

- Accuracy of MIS reports

- Internal user's feedback on quality of MIS and other reports

8. Monitor the functioning of Investor Relations - Timeliness and accuracy of quarterly and annual reports as well as other investor communication

- Investor satisfaction

- Timeliness in administration of draw downs and payouts

9. Monitor legal and compliance related activities - Success rate for the organization in dispute resolution

- Percentage adherence to statutory norms by SEBI and other relevant regulations

- Number of non-compliances in a given period

- Percentage adherence to internal processes and reporting norms (MIS)

10. Monitor the overall functioning of the HR processes in the organization - Timeliness in completion of critical HR activities such as manpower planning, talent acquisition, performance appraisal, etc.

- Percentage of top performers leaving the organization

- Attrition rate (level wise / skill wise / tenure wise / location wise / performance rating wise
