Chief Financial Officer - Manufacturing/Retail/Agriculture

A leading company based in Malawi - Central Africa is looking for suitably qualified CFO with specific experience at leading Finance team, finalizing accounts, development of MIS, Treasury Management, financial forecasting & budgeting, to strengthen the management team as well as support the rapid expansion of the group locally and regionally.

MUST have : Experience of working for a large business (USD 30 million turnover minimum).

DESIRABLE :

- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is a minimum expectation, and MBA and/or ACCA,

- Has ideally worked in Africa before.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Leading Finance team, finalizing accounts, development of MIS, Treasury Management, financial forecasting & budgeting,

- Monitoring all finance, HR and IT related procedures,

- Provide strategic advise to the CEO / Board and executive management team,

- Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance & accounting team,

- Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting,

- Advising on long-term business and financial planning,

- Establishing and developing relations with senior management and external partners / stakeholders,

- Be a highly motivated and enthusiastic team player with an ability to drive a team towards achieving the companies' objectives,

- Have a mature & pleasant personality and be willing to work long hours when necessary,

- Build, mentor and develop the finance team.
