Chief Financial Officer - Manufacturing Firm

We are a promoter-driven manufacturing company with a strong legacy and a clear vision for growth. With a robust footprint in the domestic and international market, we are now entering a new phase of transformation and expansion. We are looking for a strategic and hands-on CFO to lead our finance function and work closely with the promoter and leadership team.

Role Overview:

The CFO will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization, Having strong expertise in accounting, ensuring robust financial controls, driving operational efficiency, and providing strategic guidance for long-term growth. The role requires strong leadership, business acumen, and the ability to thrive in a promoter-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Finance Leadership:

- Partner with the promoter and leadership team in shaping business strategy and decision-making.

- Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting across all business units.

- Develop financial strategies to support long-term business growth and profitability.

Financial Management & Controls:

- Ensure integrity of financial reporting in compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.

- Establish and enforce strong internal controls, policies, and systems.

- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and capital allocation effectively.

Business & Operational Finance:

- Work closely with operations to analyze cost structures, improve margins, and drive efficiency.

- Implement cost-saving initiatives and KPI-driven performance management.

- Support pricing decisions and product costing models.

Compliance, Risk & Governance:

- Ensure tax, legal, and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.

- Mitigate financial and operational risks through sound risk management practices.

- Oversee audits, liaise with external auditors and financial institutions.

Stakeholder Management:

- Manage relationships with banks, investors, auditors, and other financial stakeholders.

- Present financial insights to the board and promoters regularly.

- Drive fundraising activities (debt and equity) as needed for growth initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA; MBA in Finance is an added advantage.

- Minimum 15 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years as CFO or equivalent leadership role in a manufacturing company.

- Proven experience working with promoter-driven businesses; understanding of dynamics between - family ownership and professional management.

- Deep understanding of cost accounting, plant finance, and manufacturing processes.

- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory environment.
