Chief Financial Officer - Manufacturing Firm (15-20 yrs)
This is a an excellent opportunity to join India based manufacturing group leading up to an IPO this year.
Reporting directly to the CEO this is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Finance Professional to take overall responsibility to lead a team of professionals, for finance function including not only the Financial & Management Accounting but also the Strategic Planning and the Risk Management functions.
Role Objectives:
- To provide support to the CEO and the leadership team in accordance with the corporate vision and business strategy; providing key advice on external influences and their potential impact on the business.
- To ensure that accurate and timely financial & management reports are produced in line with CMA, Company and Regulatory requirements.
- To ensure effective External Audits and Reviews, with a view to meet all regulatory requirements and deadlines; and Compliance to all relevant regulations and best practices
- To influence and direct the business financially to enable it to achieve long term sustained profitability.
- To ensure effective management of risk and opportunity within the business to enable it to achieve planned profitability within a controlled framework.
Key Skills
- Qualified accountant, ACA, ACCA, CPA
- Command over both written and spoken English and ability to communicate well;
- Willing to travel and conduct road shows, meet shareholders both current and future in an effective manner
- Meet with Banks and negotiate overall relationship including facilities, at optimum pricing and covenants
- Excellent experience within a Stock Market listed Manufacturing business, ideally from manufacturing
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior finance position, looking after multiple disciplinary functions
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to win the respect and trust of colleagues and other stakeholders
- An ability to influence at a senior level
- There is an excellent compensation package available for the right applicant; combined with a performance related bonus.
