Our client is a listed company and is part of a large business group. We are looking for a Chief Financial officer for the listed entity.

We are a working for this role along with an International recruiting partner.

The position is accountable for developing and managing all financial processes of the listed entity in line with the business strategy, plans and processes, while ensuring adequate financial controls and discipline, and statutory compliance. Ensure effective management & availability of funds and forex and timely closing and reporting to the management for company and all its investments. Oversee other support functions including IT, Internal Audit and Taxation. Manage Investor relations. This is across all of companies consolidated (including subsidiaries and Joint Ventures.

Integrate financial information from the subsidiaries, joint ventures and investments and provide quality financial reporting to the Board and senior leadership teams. 

- Manage the Finance Shared Services.

- Direct strategic decisions related to treasury management of the company.

- Lead the integration of subsidiaries/acquisitions in a structured manner.

- Identify opportunities for sharing / benefits (synergies) across geographies and/or businesses (business partnering) even at operational levels.

- Managing relationships with banks, creditors, analysts & rating agencies identifying and assessing various debt and equity instruments to effectively meet defined business objectives by raising funds at minimal cost

- Manage Internal Audit, CS and Legal functions in line with the company risk & controls requirements. Ensure full utilization of IT for business benefits and strengthen processes and controls. Monitor periodically, and provide feedback reports to MD and Board of Directors.

- Ensure company conforms to the requirements of corporate governance and complies with all statutory requirements.

Candidate must be below the age of 54 years.

- Must be Chartered Accountant,

- Must have worked in a listed company.

- Must have manufacturing company experience

- Tamil speaking abilities is considered a major plus
