Key KRA's:
- Financial planning, analysis, accounts & control, capital allocation & capex management
- Contribute towards creation and implementation of business strategy along with CEO and senior management.
- Prepare and implement overall finance strategy related to funding, debt mix, tax optimization, dividend distribution, investor relations in pursuance of achievement of business objectives.
- Enable completion of planning and budgeting process, develop, and oversee deployment of approved long and medium-term financial plans.
- Ensure periodic monitoring of financial performance of business and initiate corrective action.
- Ensure e2e delivery of finance services & outcomes.
- Policies & guidelines - Design & implement financial / accounting policies, authorization limits and control systems to enhance clarity in financial processes.
- Establish systems and processes for accounts, audit, financing, treasury, cash flows and budgeting other key financial processes.
- Adherence to Group Finance systems and procedures as applicable.
Treasury, fundraising, - Formulate and drive implementation of treasury and cash regulatory finance, IR management strategy to ensure minimum cost of borrowing.
- Ensure availability of required capital at best possible rates with forex risk into considerations.
- Strategically raise funds for all major capital expenditure initiatives.
- Ensure effective management of working capital within defined limits for purpose of Operations.
- Build & maintain strong business relationships with key stakeholders like banks, investors and other financial institutions.
Taxation - Ensure effective tax planning in line with regulatory environment and available options.
- Ensure compliance with both Indian and foreign taxation rules and regulations.
- Compliances w.r.t. returns required for direct and indirect taxation.
- Oversight of contracts to ensure adherence of legal provisions and to avoid penalties or sanctions. Legal & compliance - Develop and implement a robust policy in interest
- Monitor legality of contracts and ensure that there is strict adherence and there are no penalties or sanctions on business
- Oversee legal matters by providing inputs on approach to be taken / arguments to be made in any given scenario to safeguard company's image and business interests
- Evaluate impact of evolving legal and statutory regulations on current and future operations/ investments
- Work closely with teams ; Group Finance.
- Be part of prospecting, DD, negotiations as required.
- Ownership of integration on completion of transaction.
- Institute mechanisms to ensure long term value accretive model of acquired entity.
- Ensure achievement of objectives
Secretarial services :
- Oversee secretarial services for company and ensure corporate governance as per norms.
- Lead and manage shareholders' agenda and ensure implementation of resolutions.
People management & capability development :
- Provide leadership to team and ensure their accelerated development.
- Enhance skills and competencies. Scout for & bring high end talent across department to enhance standards.
- Establish individual performance expectations and regularly review individual performance of team.
