To provide strategic financial leadership and operational expertise for a dynamic and expanding chain of clubs, restaurants, and pubs in India and overseas, ensuring financial stability, growth, and compliance.
Key Result Areas (KRAs):
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and oversee comprehensive financial plans aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
- Conduct regular financial analysis, providing insights and recommendations to drive informed decision-making.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to establish realistic financial targets.
- Implement a robust forecasting system to monitor and adapt to changing market conditions.
Cash Flow Management:
- Optimize working capital management to ensure liquidity and mitigate financial risks.
- Implement efficient cash flow forecasting models, minimizing idle funds and maximizing returns.
Financial Reporting and Compliance:
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Implement and maintain internal controls, conducting regular audits to mitigate financial and operational risks.
- International Financial Management:
- Oversee financial operations for international locations, ensuring compliance with local regulations and optimizing currency risk management strategies.
- Collaborate with regional finance teams to standardize financial practices and reporting.
Capital Investment and ROI Analysis:
- Evaluate potential capital investments and expansion projects, conducting rigorous ROI analysis.
- Monitor and report on the financial performance of investments, recommending adjustments as needed.
Cost Control and Operational Efficiency:
- Implement cost control measures to optimize operational efficiency without compromising service quality.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance overall cost-effectiveness.
Financial Strategy and Stakeholder Communication:
- Develop and communicate financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to provide financial insights for strategic decision-making.
Treasury Management:
- Oversee treasury functions, including banking relationships, debt management, and investment strategies.
- Evaluate and negotiate financial instruments to optimize the company's capital structure.
Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A):
- Lead financial due diligence for potential acquisitions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Manage financial aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, including post-transaction integration.
Risk Management:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework, identifying and mitigating financial and operational risks.
- Ensure compliance with insurance requirements and optimize risk mitigation strategies.
Corporate Governance and Ethics:
- Uphold the highest standards of corporate governance and ethical practices.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience in the hospitality industry.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience managing financial operations for international locations.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
