Key Responsibilities:
- Handle the Board matters.
- Report financials to the Executive Management, Board, and the shareholders.
- Provide financial analysis and guidance to the executive team and Board of Directors.
- Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support the Company goals and objectives.
- Review short term and long-term financial goals and develop a comprehensive budget for the upcoming year.
- Set Financial Benchmarks and establish a system to track KPI's.
- Identify areas for revenue growth and cost savings.
- Evaluate the financial performance of each business units and identify areas for improvement.
- Evaluate existing financial systems, develop and implement the policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Assess the current financial position of the company. Manage cash flow & investment portfolios.
- To maintain banking relationships. Negotiate favourable terms for loans, credit lines, and other financial requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in finance and accounting, and recommend changes to the company financial strategies as needed.
- Handle Statutory, Internal, and Secretarial audit matters.
- Work with the Rating agency.
- Ensure compliances with applicable laws. Evaluate current tax strategies and make recommendations.
- Develop a risk management framework and identify and manage financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Review existing assets and make recommendation.
- Assess the financial impact of new initiatives and investments and provide recommendations to the executive team.
- Finance Team People Goals - Manage the finance and accounting team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Oversee the preparation of financial reports for regulatory bodies and stakeholders.
- Cross functional coordination to ensure that financial considerations integrated into decision-making processes.
