- Reporting into the CEO, you will be heading the finance function for a well known start up.

- You will be responsible to scale up the business and build the team

Our client is a new age, fast growing company backed by marquee investors. They are looking to hire a dynamic individual to head the finance function

Description :

Reporting into the CEO, you will be responsible for :

- Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team

- Ensuring correct accounting of all the transactions & payments, preparation & submission of all the financial statements periodically.

- Ensuring the implementation and maintenance of control systems in Finance team

- Ensuring the day to day operational requirements are met, within the required timelines with the help of Finance Team

- Ensuring timely filing of tax returns per the relevant acts & interfacing with auditors and regulatory authorities for assessments and remittances

- Acting as coordinator with external and internal auditors and supplying of the necessary information and documentation

- Work with Banks, PE/VC firms & Financial Institutions to raise funds as and when required

- Lead the inorganic growth of the company through M&A and JV's

Profile :

- CA with 10+ years of experience

- Prior experience in raising funds (equity)

- Good network in the PE/VC space

- Prior experience of managing M&A transactions

- Robust experience in controllership, taxation and audit

- Experience in leading and managing a team

- Strong interpersonal skills
