Client is looking for an experienced CFO to head the finance department of the company. He/She would be part of the core management team. The role requires the person to oversee Finance and Accounts, Commercial, Audit, Treasury, Taxation, Financial Planning and Analysis, IT, Statutory Compliance and Investor Relations. He/she will be responsible for designing and developing the financial strategies according to the business needs and strategy.

Job Responsibilities:

- Drive the full suite of financial accounting & controllership, business partnering and commercial activities and support the management to achieve its financial targets and business goals.

- Leading the finance department & directly assist the CEO on all strategic and tactical related to Finance

- Hold accountability for timely and accurate reporting of profit and loss, expense budget forecasting, capital budgets, and cash flows

- Lay down internal control procedures and policies in order to ensure accounting and business practices are in line with corporate policy and direction

- Business and financial strategy planning including analysis and recommendations for improving product margin, ROI, cost controls and profitability analysis

- Prepare budgets for the financial year and monitor the budget with respect to expenditures and adopting appropriate steps for managing the allocated budget, engineering program cost and spending control, implementing internal controls wherever needed

- Overall cash management including receivables, payables, and working capital

- Generate monthly quarterly and annual fund consolidated financial statements and MIS

- Review the accounting procedures and systems in a manner that will ensure the company meets all the statutory and regulatory requirements at all times.

- Manage the auditing and taxation processes which meets the necessary statutory requirements.

- Take leadership to drive cross functional process improvement and lead the finance team and ensure the team is disciplined and motivated.

- Advise on Fund Raising through various means and ensure effective management and availability of funds and timely closing and reporting to the management. Oversee the investment of funds and manage associated risks, supervise cash management activities

- Interface with the internal and external auditors as a focal point for efficient management of the Statutory, Tax, Transfer Pricing and Internal Audits as a part of Corporate Governance

Required Candidate profile:

- CA with 12- 15 years experience in Finance function. In-depth understanding of sales /commercial accounting from FMCG/ manufacturing industry

- Must have the exposure of handling internal and external Audits. A big 4 audit experience would be an added advantage.

- Experience in raising funds and managing Investor relations

- Build trust relations with key partners and stakeholders and act as a point of contact for important stakeholders

- Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth

- Maintain a deep knowledge of the markets and industry of the company
