Chief Financial Officer - FMCG - CA

We are looking CFO for an FMCG Company.

The position is responsible for the Finance Operation of Mentor Manufacturing accounting functions

Responsibility -

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNT ABILITIES / OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible team member to participate in medium and short term implementation of the business plan

2. Lead the budget-making exercise from the planning stage, ensuring financial resource availability and take responsibility for checking actual performance against budget

3. Ensure that the Finance and Accounting workflow is executed as per the schedule and is of required quality and transparency as per Company, Parent Company and other statutory requirements

4. Responsible for ensuring that the transactions with the group companies meet the Transfer Pricing requirements and it is properly planned and implemented.

5. Ensuring compliance with direct and indirect tax requirements including tax planning.

6. Ensuring MIS is submitted in time and guide the management on the trends, concern areas etc.

7. Proactive in providing support to the CEO and his team to ensure that any new project, business intervention is planned well in order to ensure that Company gets maximum value by way of tax, subsidies, etc as also there is full compliance to laws that the groups strategic business plan is being executed.

8. Manage cash flow and working capital requirements by keeping a close tab on the company spends, inventory etc

9. Ensure and play the role of custodian of the company's assets and integrity of processes, take immediate corrective action in case of any lapse, deviation etc is observed

10. Work closely towards building a strong and motivated team, ensure proper handling of all employee matters

11. Ensure that the team focuses on supporting business at the same time ensuring full compliance of all SOP's

12. Submit periodic reports and financials and MIS as per the requirements of parent company in France

13. Ensure compliance to the Internal Financial Controls and Lead the Internal audit requirements of the Company.

14. Responsible for Treasury Management and RBI compliance in respect of Forex, Subsidiary companies, ECB and other requirements.

15. Ensure that the statutory accounts are completed as per the timelines set by the management.

16. Good command over Insurance policies required by a company and costing.

17. Should be proactive and have an innovative approach.

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION

1. Chartered Accountant with around 15-20 Yrs experience to manage all finance, accounts and taxation function of a mid-sized Manufacturing Company

2. Candidates with Good knowledge of SAP will be given preference

3. Must be a go getter and should be capable of running the function and responsibility without fear or favor

4. Good communication skills (Oral & Written) and Interpersonal skills.

5. Malayalam language is must .
