JOB DESCRIPTION:

Designation - CFO / Finance Head

Function / Vertical - Finance and Accounts

Reporting to CEO

Location Mumbai (Powai)

Educational Qualification - Chartered Accountant

Management Level - Senior management Level

Roles and Responsibilities

Accounting:

- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

- Manage the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.

- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and compliance procedures.

- Coordinate and manage external audits and tax audits.

Finance:

- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.

- Oversee treasury functions, including cash flow management and risk mitigation.

Taxation-

- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.

- Manage tax planning and optimization strategies.

- Oversee tax audits and appeals.

- Prepare and file tax returns accurately and timely.

- Stay updated on tax law changes and their impact on the business.

Relevant Experience

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Chartered Accountant (CA)

No of years of experience 10-18 years

Technical Competencies

- IFC implementation

- Automation of the various processes

- Proficient with Microsoft office package and accounting software tools.
