Position Description : This is not a typical Finance Controller desk-job. While the candidate should have very good knowledge of accounting and finance, the position requires a quick thinking, dynamic, energetic individual who excels in thinking analytically and managing uncertainties like an owner. An ideal candidate should love start-ups and should be passionate about agricultural machinery. Requirements : - Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA Finance with minimum 5 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience. - Proven working experience as a Controller. - Thorough knowledge of Corporate Governance principles and statutory compliance - Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process. - Excellent Tally &amp; Excel user Desired Profile : - Fluency in Marathi is preferred - Ability to manage simple staff in Nashik without unreasonable expectations - Ability to build creative and functional systems for accounting, finance, audit, and tax - Willingness to engage deeply with operations in order to manage them to build systems - Project-oriented work style in order to complete critical tasks in a timely manner - Keen interest in companies legal and ownership structure and ability to drive compliance with all shareholder agreements and policies set by the Board - Preparation of annual business plans, analytical reports and presentations and MIS systems for active financial management. - Managing staff for all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition. - Above normal controller responsibilities, should have the ability to engage in key commercial activities such as vendor negotiation, employee-related management and ability to oversee activities multiple cities and offices. - Should be able to develop relationships with lenders, banks, financial institutions and be able to negotiate key alliances with these parties for debt, equipment financing, etc.
