Job Specifications :
Financial Planning :
- Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives
- Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans
- Develop financial and tax strategies
- Develop financial strategies by contributing financial and accounting
- Information, analysis, and recommendations and direction; establishing functional objectives in line with company's objectives.
- Monitor financial performance by measuring and analysing results;
- Initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.
- Project pricing, revenue & profitability tracking with management team & suggestions / directions on various projects / costs
- Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction
Controllership :
- Oversee the issuance of financial information
- Personally review and approve all Financial filings with the Banks and Regulators
- Report financial results to the board of directors
- Manage the accounting, legal, tax, and treasury related aspects
- Manage any third parties to which functions have been outsourced
- Oversee the company's transaction processing systems
- Implement operational best practices
- Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts
Risk management :
- Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile
- Monitor all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the industry
- Construct and monitor reliable control systems (including Internal Control Over Financial Reporting)
- Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements
Legal & Compliance :
- Compliance of Company Law & FEMA related compliances
- Review of agreements
Others :
- Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team
- Maintain Corporate Banking relationships
- Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team
Reporting Relationship : This role will report to the Chief Executive Officer and the person will be part of the leadership team.
