Chief Financial Officer - EPC Industry (15-20 yrs)
Job description
Role purpose:
The incumbent will be a key member of the leadership team, will report to the existing CFO and over a period of 6 months transition into the role as the existing CFO moves to a Board-level engagement with the company.
Key responsibilities:
Working capital management:
- Regularly monitor the company's assets & liabilities
- Ensure adequate cash-ow is available for short & long-term liabilities
- Optimize inventory management
- Maintain optimal Current, DSO & Inventory Control ratios
Financial relationships:
- Maintain preferential relationships with banks & FIs
- Ensure availability of capital (when required) at the best rates
Company performance:
- Ensure the company's performance is in line with the agreed strategy
- Ensure Top Line, EBITDA numbers are met
- Monitor and maximize Return on Capital
- Budget & budgetary control
- Make annual & forecasted budgets for the company
- Ensure 0% variance
- Ensure project costs are within agreed ranges
MIS & Reporting:
- Share periodic reports with leadership teams, promoters & Board
- Statutory compliances & Tax
- Ensure 100% compliance with statutory regulations
- Ensure financial books are maintained
