Summary : Group CFO will oversee all finance, accounting, forecasting, budgeting, Risk Management Legal, treasury, tax and insurance functions at Group of Companies ( Real Estate, Power Transmission, Projects, Logistics ). This role directs all financial activities and advises and assists the Chairman in meeting the overall financial and strategic objectives of the company. The Group CFO is responsible for providing strategic leadership for the companies by working with the Executive Committee Team to establish long range goals, strategies, plans and policies for the companies.
Area of responsibilities :
- Manage the Group Finance function - group accounting, treasury, M&A, tax and insurance, investor relations and risk management.
- Support businesses in budgeting and business development.
- Manage Real Estate, Power Transmission, Building & factory, Logistics business. (KL, KPTL, JMC, SSL)
- Support Chairman in managing the business and making key decisions.
- Build robust systems and processes for finance function across the Group
Group Accounting :
- Set accounting policies and standards, consolidate and sign-off P&L and Balance sheet for statutory reporting, and oversee external audit
- Review and consolidate budgets prepared by businesses, and review their performance against budgets
- Support in evaluating new business opportunities and in negotiation for all M&A across the group
- Manage information dissemination to shareholders and investor relations
- Define a structured risk policy for all businesses, and manage business, operational and credit risk
- Manage tax planning decisions, and oversee filing of returns and compliance with direct and indirect tax norms
- Set up and run the group treasury
- Raise long term funding and manage liquidity
- Plan and supervise group investments
- Oversee financial risk management and hedging
- Manage finance talent across the Group
- Maximise value creation from KL,KPTL,JMC,SSL businesses
- Manage Group Assurance & Risk, Group Procurement & SCM, Group HSE, Group IT departments across the group.
- Candidate must have handled atleast 10000 Crore business for the group.
