Chief Financial Officer - Chemical Firm - CA

The Client :

A listed company, an emerging leader in Chemical Industry, is engaged in manufacturing and exporting of Pigment, Pharmaceuticals, Agrochemicals, and Rubber chemicals intermediates.

Role Purpose :

Leadership role for the finance function. Guide the organization in making the right financial decisions and leading the execution of these decisions. The overarching role is to make the company as financially successful and profitable while managing the high growth objective in the short term.

Role (includes but not limited to)

Three components to the role :

1. Controllership: Report and analyze past and present finances and responsible to stakeholders and other leaders. Oversee daily financial operations and make sure it is in line with the financial goals of the organization

2. Treasury : Oversee the company's capital and finances and decide how to spend money by weighing the risk and liquidity factors and keep capital structure intact.

3. Forecasting : Use right level of information to predict future financial successes by weighing on the products and services to determine profitability and help management to make appropriate decisions.

The Person for the role :

- High energy, business saavy Chartered Accountant (C.A) with about 20 years of experience heading the finance function of a mid size in high growth path with consistent track record.

- Experience in fundraising - banks, FIs

- Independently managing the end to end finance and accounts function with a team of department heads.

- Good understanding of the accounting, taxation, compliance requirements of a listed company.
