Job Description - As the CFO, working closely with the promoter you will be responsible for spearheading the finance & accounting function & take the organization through an IPO in the next 12-18 months

Our client is one of the renowned Indian business houses with interest in multiple businesses. The group has a turnover of INR c.50 billion & a history of close to 50 years in the Indian market. They are currently looking to hire a CFO with a vision to take one of their profitable businesses public.
Description :
Working directly with the promoters & responsible for the entire finance & accounts team, you will be responsible for:
- Making the organization IPO ready & taking it through the entire process
- Contributing to the overall success of the organization by effectively managing all financial tasks, overseeing budgeting and accounting
- Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures
- Responsible for Business Analysis, Inventory & debtor control and finalization and audit of annual report
- Ensuring that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained as per organization's expectations
- Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual closing of financial- Balance sheet, P&L, Cash Flow statements
- Consolidation of Financial of all plants, Business units, subsidiaries
- Liasioning with banks and other financial institutions
Profile :
You are a CA with 20 plus years of post qualification experience. You have prior experience of taking a company successfully through an IPO process, while leading the entire Finance & Account functions.
