Job Description : This is a CFO opportunity with a leading Indian conglomerate venturing into a new Chemicals business with a State of the Art manufacturing facility in India.

Client Details :

Our client is a Multi Product company with a turnover in excess of INR 4500 Crores. They have been around for 40 years with manufacturing facilities across the country catering to various industries and sectors - such as Chemicals, Pharmaceutical, Commodities, Soda Ash etc.

Currently they are looking for a CFO for a new business venture.

Description :

Reporting to the Chairman, your responsibilities will include :

- Grow Topline of company with relation to budget, Organic or Inorganic (Acquisitions)

- Ensure strong return on investments

- Arrange for debt and equity financing

- Accurately projecting estimation of profit before tax

- Drive the company financial planning

- Deciding on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks.

- Provide strategic inputs / make strategic recommendations in the area of finance to the MD / top management, on a periodic basis or when required.

- Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans

- Develop financial and tax strategies

- Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team

- Oversee employee benefit plans, with particular emphasis on maximising a cost-effective benefits package

- Report risk issues to the audit committee of the board of directors

- Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations

- Invest pension funds

Profile :

You are a Chartered Accountant or a Cost & Works Accountant with a minimum of 25 years of experience. You should have experience of working in a Mid to Large Indian (1000+ Cr) organization as a CFO for atleast 8+ years. You should have raised funds (Debt and/or Equity) on your own or lead the transactions with the various financial institutions. You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have a track record of working successfully in Indian promoter driven set-ups.
