Chief Financial Officer - CA - Agri Commodity Trading

Our Client is one of the Leading diverse businesses include commodities trading - mainly rice, sugar, cashews and edible oil, manufacturing - steel and aluminum products and stone crushing. The Group also actively explores and invests in new ventures and opportunities in order to build and nurture sustainable businesses arising out of great ideas.

Strategic :

- Playing a major role in monitoring & implementation of strategic business plans and long term fiscal planning strategies, modeling & monitoring; assessing the organizational performance against both annual budget & organizational long term strategy

- Leading the identification & evaluation of financial risk factors for all companies and implementing controls to mitigate risks

Operational :

- Conducting business process review & participating in key decision as Member of Executive Management Team

- Checking & rationalizing the expenditure in line with the financial objectives for effective management of costs for companies

Treasury :

- Evaluating the funding needs and developing strategies / plans for financing

- Monitoring the developments in foreign exchange market, keeping updated with market trends and playing an important role in hedging all exposures with appropriate hedging instruments

- Looking after letter of credit & bank guarantee and negotiation with banks

- Finalizing the commercial contracts and other commercial aspects

Functional :

- Heading the entire accounts & finance verticals of the Company across multiple countries

- Leading a team of members in the organization

- Evangelizing transformation & outlook of finance, checking & assessing the value drivers and developing business analytics (key strategies) to facilitate decision-making

- Implementing significant improvements in finance processes to improve speed & accurate monthly results and finance & material movement processes to institutionalize internal controls and fraud prevention

- Creating long-term fiscal planning strategies, modeling, policies & procedures to ensure constant application of business practices involving protection and efficient utilization of organizational assets & other resources

Business Restructuring :

- Creating holding structure of a company

- Identified new business opportunities and established new lines of businesses including commodity futures and other venture.

- Creating a tax efficient, risk minimized and legally compliant holding structure of all business entities (spread across multiple countries and different business verticals) to bring ownership to single holding company.)

Education : Chartered Accountant

Desired Candidate Profile :

- Should be a qualified Chartered Accountant with 8-15 years of exposure out of which last 5 years at a senior level

- Exposure into Agri Commodity Trading Must.

- Must have any International exposure at a Senior level with age group upto 40-42 years.
