Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial operations of a leading FMCG organization. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in financial planning, risk management, corporate governance, and business strategy, with strong experience in the FMCG sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Leadership:
- Drive long-term financial strategy in alignment with business goals.
- Partner with the CEO and Board on business planning, capital allocation, and growth initiatives.
- Lead M&A evaluations, business diversification plans, and capital raising.
Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Develop robust financial models for forecasting and budgeting.
- Monitor business performance through KPIs, dashboards, and variance analysis.
- Provide actionable insights for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
Controllership & Compliance:
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting as per Indian Accounting Standards.
- Maintain strong internal control systems and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements (GST, Income Tax, ROC, etc.).
- Supervise audits (internal/statutory) and drive closure of audit points.
Working Capital & Treasury:
- Manage working capital cycles, credit policies, and cash flow planning.
- Oversee banking relationships, funding arrangements, and investment strategies.
Taxation:
- Lead direct and indirect tax planning and compliance.
- Handle tax assessments and represent the company before authorities.
ERP & Digitization:
- Drive digitization of finance processes including automation of reporting, dashboards, and controls.
- Lead ERP implementation/improvements (SAP/Oracle preferred).
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Chartered Accountant with 1822 years of post-qualification experience.
- Minimum 57 years in a leadership finance role in FMCG or allied sectors.
- Strong business acumen and commercial understanding.
- Proven experience in handling high-growth environments and complex business models.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Compensation: Commensurate with industry standards and experience.
