Chief Financial Officer - CA (10-20 yrs)

Requirements :

CA with 10-15 year experience in leadership role in finance and accounts department

- Experience in leading a team of 5-10 in accounts, taxation, audit, compliance and other functions of the department of a services business

- Should have worked in businesses with fairly high volume of monthly invoicing

- Experience of engaging with Big 4 auditors, and in closing accounts

- Ability to take independent decisions in line with company's policies and procedures

- Good communication skills, written as well as oral.

- Highest level of professional and personal honesty, integrity and ethics.

- Proactive and should be able to understand business dynamics.

- Should have experience in ERP system

Responsibilities :


- Manage the finance, accounts, taxation and compliance functions of the company

- Control of day to day accounts on Australian system through team of six

- Regular interaction with global finance team based in Sydney

- Should have control on AR and AP

- Coordinate and ensure timely completion of audit process and engage with Board appointed Audit Committee.

- Managing interactions with Statutory Auditors, Internal Auditor to ensure smooth finalization closure

- Finalization of Accounts as per applicable Accounting Standards/ IND AS

- Finalisation of annual report

- Ensure Tax Related Compliance - Direct & Indirect- Advance Tax, Assessments, Returns Filings, etc. Regular Interaction & Updation with Group Tax Team on all the Tax Related matters.

- Preparation of financial budget and financial forecast.

- Prepare and present periodic financial statements / MIS, including variation of actuals from budget, to the management and Board.

- Closely monitor cashflow for businesses and highlight observations to the management.

- Document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal control process.

- Understand and implement risk mitigation solutions including maintaining appropriate insurance cover

- Manage general function of the finance and accounts department
