Job Description - As the Chief Financial Officer, you would be responsible for heading the entire finance function of the organization. You will spearhead the finance, controlling and accounting functions of a leading building materials company while supervising multiple other functions including supply chain, human resources and IT. Within the Building and Construction industry, our client has demonstrated among the top growth rates in India.

Client Details

Our client is a mid sized, established player within the building materials space with a history of more than 30 years globally. They have a strong presence in Asia, North America and Europe and are now looking at a strategic individual to grow their organization.

Description

As the CFO, you would be reporting to the CEO.

Your key responsibilities would include:

1. Evaluate financial performance of organization with regard to long-term operational goals, budgets and forecasts

2. Create and establish yearly financial objectives that align with the company's plan for growth and expansion

3. Participate in key decisions as they relate to strategic initiatives and operational models

4. Prepare and present monthly financial budgeting reports including monthly profit and loss by division, forecast vs. budget by division and weekly cash flow by division

5. Review and analyze monthly financial results and provide recommendations

6. Participate in weekly conference calls with Lenders, Vendors and Executive Leadership Team

7. Ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial and management reporting data

8. Review month-end closing activities including general ledger accounts, balance sheet accounts, etc.

9. Maintain banking relationships and strategic alliances with vendors and business partners

10. Monitoring and presenting to management the opinions of the investor community regarding the company's performance, including benchmarking with competitors foster and maintain relationships with shareholders and the broader investor community, as well as manage the company's external investor-related reporting and communications

11. To be a strategic planner and key contributor in policy decisions, in regard to M&A

Profile

As a successful applicant, you are a CA or MBA Finance with at least 15 years of post-qualification experience in a manufacturing setup. You are working as the CFO / Head of Finance and are looking for a lucrative and challenging role to lead from the front.
