Chief Financial Officer - BFSI

Corporate Finance and Financial Strategy:

- Develop overall corporate strategy with the MD & CEO with an emphasis on bottom line performance, optimizing capital structure and enhancing shareholder value.

- Lead corporate finance initiatives including Fund raising, JVs, M&A and Strategic partnerships.

- Evaluate investment opportunities in India and overseas and conduct robust financial analysis to support key strategic initiatives.

- Lead the team, strong stakeholder management including other CXOs, Board, Investment Banks and Advisors/Consultants.

Financial Reporting, Budgeting and Compliance

- Responsible for financial accounts and timely audit.

- Compliance from IFSC Regulators perspective applicable to Finance & Financial Preparation

- Compliance with applicable GAAP

- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.

- Oversee a robust framework for budgeting, forecasting and financial planning to support business decisions while maintaining a strong internal control environment.

- Integrate with business, drive cross-functional initiatives while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and control.

Corporate Performance Management

- Review and analyse financial statements to assess the Company's financial health and operating performance over a specific period.

- Identifies and monitors key financial metrics and KPIs, including comparison with external benchmarks and spearheading corrective action, as required.

- Partner with Business teams to drive transformation as a world class financial markets infrastructure and data provider.

- Leverage data for strategic insights, cost and resource optimisation, finance infrastructure modernization, utilisation of cutting-edge technology etc.,

- Instituting Cost Control and productivity metrics across the firm.

- Ensuring adequate level of automation and process efficiency in Finance Vertical and across processes relating to preparation of financial statements

- Ensuring Bank Reconciliation and Balance Sheet substantiation done at a daily/weekly/monthly frequency as defined by RMC and ACB

Risk Management

- Identify, assess and manage internal and external risks while striving to attain profitable growth.

- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial and operational risks.

- Create and maintain a strong internal control framework from Financial Reporting and Finance Operations perspective

- Proactively monitor market trends, economic indicators, and other factors affecting the financial landscape.

Treasury

- Oversee treasury, including cash management, liquidity planning, and investment strategies, in line with policies laid down by the Board.

- Manage relationships with financial institutions and ensure optimal banking structures.

Taxation

- Oversee tax planning and structuring and work with advisors to ensure adherence to the tax regime and optimize tax efficiency.

- Ensuring zero misses on regulatory slips and tax compliance

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards and disclosure norms.

Team Leadership and People Development

- Build and lead a team of high-performing finance professionals.

- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the finance department.

- Develop and inspire teams to commit to a common vision of success and alignment with the vision.

Communication with Key Stakeholders

- Effectively communicate financial performance, strategies, and risks to internal and external stakeholders.

- Collaborate with equity analysts and other stakeholders to build strong relationships and drive investor relations strategy

- Represent the organization at external forums including Board of Directors and stakeholders like investors, bankers, industry forums and regulators.

- Actively working with the Board and various sub-committees in enabling strategic decisions and delivering good corporate governance and financial management.
