Chief Financial Officer - BFS/Consulting Firm

Role & Responsibilities

- Drive the company's financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to align with long-term organizational goals.

- Collaborate with the leadership team to define and execute strategic initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and/or fundraising activities.

- Oversee financial reporting, accounting, treasury, tax planning, and audit functions for entities across the group. Ensure robust internal financial controls and compliance with statutory regulations, including Indian GAAP, IFRS, US GAAP and other applicable laws

- Lead statutory audits, internal audits, and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to local and international regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks and implement strong governance practices.

- Drive financial due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and integration processes for mergers and acquisitions. Develop post-acquisition strategies to maximize synergies and operational efficiencies.

- Lead and manage Series A, B, C, D, and E funding rounds, working closely with venture capitalists, private equity firms, and other investors. Develop and present comprehensive financial models, due diligence packages, and business plans to potential investors.

- Design the ESOP framework, including vesting schedules, grant terms, and eligibility criteria, in line with the organizations financial and growth strategy. Collaborate with legal advisors to ensure the ESOP complies with local and international regulations, including tax implications for the organization and employees.

- Effectively lead, coach and mentor team members to drive professional growth and build high- performing teams.

- Act as a primary liaison with stakeholders, including investors, to ensure clear communication and alignment on financial objectives and strategic decision making.

- Oversee and uphold internal finance processes and policies, ensuring they are robust, efficient, and aligned with industry standards and market benchmarks.

- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring cost-effective procurement and seamless contract management.
