Chief Financial Officer - BFS (10-15 yrs)

- Provide strategic financial direction and functions to achieve business targets

- Develop strategic business and / or operational plans, projects, programs and systems as part of Senior Management

- Ensure optimum management of corporate funds through effective treasury management and compliance

- Finalize capital structure and develop funding options/sources, with adequate contingency mechanisms

Customer:

- Develop and deploy action plans to boost Advisory Fee collection & renewals.

- Work with Marketing Team to finalize competitive Incentive schemes related to product.

- Closely monitor cash flows and take necessary steps to ensure continuous availability of working capital.

Internal Processes:

- Provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports and recommendations.

- Guide the Risk Management team in the development of risk mitigation strategies based on analysis of risk elements and prepare action plans for the same at an organizational level.

- Ensure corporate governance with regards to financial and other matters.

- Direct the development, maintenance, and implementation of all accounting policies and procedures in compliance with accounting standards.

- Review, consolidate and finalize annual accounts and submit for board approval.

- Manage corporate taxation and compliance with allied laws to ensure that the organization's finances are accurately reported and taxes optimized.

- Co-ordinate with statutory auditors to ensure annual accounts are audited as per schedule

- Review reports from Internal Audit teams to identify non-compliance areas and ensure related closures/escalations.

- Monitor and guide the internal audit to ensure an integrated approach to the assessment of risk compliance.

Learning and Growth:

- Ensure timely goal setting, monitoring, review of performance parameters and feedback to the team members.

- Oversee capability building for the team, mentor and groom high-potential subordinates.

- Strategic planning and execution skills.

- Investor management skills.

- Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.

- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, audit, risk management and cost control principles

- Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.

- Knowledge of international and local financial regulations

- Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections
