Job Description
Our client is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join the company as CFO reporting to the Board & helping to lead the company's growth into a more mature organization with deep technical & operational competencies.
This position is accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company. This will involve financial and operational strategy along with SLA/Metrics tied to that strategy and ongoing controls to protect company assets and reporting of accurate financial results.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Formulate company's direction and support tactical initiatives to achieve company's goals.
- Ability to interact with the partners/Board and enable Information systems to take business decisions and manage the entire Finance and Accounts function.
- Develop, execute and monitor strategic business plans.
- Manage company's capital and budgeting.
- Ensure cost cutting measures.
- Ensure all financial and accounting processes are well developed and executed in line with the statutory legislation.
- Ensure accurate and timely development of company financial accounts and compliance with legislative laws and audits.
- Closely monitor the process and data flow between accounting and other systems/departments.
- Timely and accurate filing of monthly / quarterly return of TDS/other taxes etc.
- Lead and manage all legal issues pertaining the company and industry.
- Maintain appropriate insurance coverage and financial limits.
- Report risk issues to the audit committee of the board of directors.
- Maintain relations with external auditors, financiers and investigate their findings and recommendations.
Qualifications
The candidate should have a CA/ ICWA/ Master's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent progressively responsible business experience of 10+ years
