Key areas of competencies:

1. Finance Strategy and Operations : Oversight and accountability of the entire Finance function. Closely monitor the budget, challenge the costs, explore & recommend ways to reduce the cost. Recommend right Finance and Compliance structure for SPV created for raising debt and execute the corrective plan. Financial risk assessments and mitigation.

2. Compliance : Ensure compliance with local regulations (incl RBI, ROC, Taxation, State laws etc)

3. Legal : Ownership of legal aspects, with support of legal consultant (part time)

4. Company secretarial : Ownership of company secretarial functions with support of Company secretary (part time)

5. Reporting : Preparation/validation of all dashboards (Governing board, Investors etc) and ability to present same to Governing board/Investors

6. Tech platform (third party) (eg; Tally or Zoho) : well versed with features and usage

7. Process stabilisation : ensure all financial processes are stabilised and well oiled so that it is fit to scale

8. Pricing : Assist and advice on pricing for bespoke client deals

9. Raising Debt funds : Lead the discussions with financial institutions or intermediaries for various modes of debt funds. With respect to individual debt "Investors" : independently work on the different models, handle onboarding, finalise contracts, manage exits, monthly/quarterly updates, documentations, handle queries etc.

10. Board : be a permanent invitee of the board of directors. Understand the nuances of functioning of the board and be well:articulated to present/discuss financials

11. Equity Fund raise : Independently represent during investor discussions. Handle individual investors/VC's post fund raise : monthly/quarterly updates, queries etc.

12. Venture capital funding readiness : Awareness of key requirements and due diligence parameters, and/or execution the VC readiness plan

13. Negotiation : good skills for negotiating with NBFC's, Individual investors, VC's etc

14. Excel : good proficiency
