Hiring for the role of Chief Finance Officer/Sr. Vice President - Finance in a leading startup in the student living space. Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for developing strategic plans for future growth of the organization. Role will be responsible for formulation & implementation of corporate financial strategies. - Work with Founders/CEO/COO closely to review the business plan,, monitor and devise financial strategy to achieve the requisite growth of organization. - Analysis and assessment of capital required over the Business plan period and arranging the required capital by bringing various investors on board. - Manage Investor Relationship, Raise Funding and thus be enabler of enhancing financial/business valuation of Organization. - Partner closely with Investors for DD, term sheets, business review, valuation discussions and thus steer the future growth accordingly - Provide necessary support to the top management in situations of potential acquisition, merger, collaborations with external organizations. - Provide strategic leadership to the overall finance & account function at the company ensuring that the function is properly organized and has seamless operations. - Responsible for Financial Discipline in the organization which includes building Financial Controls & Policies, Budgeting, Costing, Pricing decisions etc. - Proactively monitor changes in government regulations and policies, industry, and economy affecting the company's finance practices thus liason with external stakeholders effectively. - Identify areas of improvements in all operations of the company and Set systems and processes to control and manage the financial & commercial operations through appropriate financial management and reporting systems, controls, procedures and processes. KEY COMPETENCIES & SKILLS: - Preferred CA, CFS. - Ideal candidate will be someone with 12 to 18 years of Experience working in startups or VC side with education from premium pedigree MBA/Graduation with excellent track record. - Excellent conceptual and critical thinking capabilities. - Agile, passionate, energetic, a live wire. - Should be able to work in chaotic high growth environment. - Strong Network & Exposure to VC/PE/Investors community.
