Chief Executive Officer - Social Impact

Responsibilities :

- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the team, ensuring alignment with its mission, vision, and values.

- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including social entrepreneurs, investors, donors, government agencies, and other non-profit organizations.

- Develop and execute strategic plan, including fundraising, programmatic, and operational goals.

- Oversee financial management, including budgeting, accounting, and reporting.

- Ensure programs and services are of high quality and meet the needs of social entrepreneurs.

- Represent at conferences, events, and other public forums, advocating for its mission and impact.

- Stay abreast of trends and developments in the social entrepreneurship sector, and identify opportunities to leverage the organisation's expertise and resources.

Qualifications :

- At least 10 years of senior leadership experience in the non-profit, social enterprise, or corporate sector, with a track record of success in strategic planning, fundraising, and team management.

- Strong understanding of social entrepreneurship and the challenges and opportunities facing social entrepreneurs in India.

- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to inspire and influence diverse stakeholders.

- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans, and to manage budgets and financial reporting.

- Experience with fundraising and donor relations, including grant writing and major gifts.

- Strong team leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and motivate a high-performing team.

- A Bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree in business, public administration, or a related field is preferred.
