Chief Executive Officer - FMCG Startup (10-20 yrs)
This position is responsible to quickly and responsibly build a leading consumer-focused digital-first skincare brand that will offer innovative quality solutions to the consumer. It would entail looking at all aspects of business including marketing, strategy and financials.
A quasi entrepreneur with a passion for building brands, the individual will be reporting directly to the promoters and will be given the independence to lead the brand forward. This person has the capability of scaling operations.
- Build brand as a strong consumer brand by holistically looking at all aspects of marketing and consumer satisfaction
- Develop the overall business plan and fully own the P&L and Cash flow
- Develop growth strategy to scale up revenues with an effective return on investment
- Build a differentiated and relevant brand positioning and strategy through a strong understanding of consumer insights
- Identify consumer needs and trends, and develop the product portfolio to cater to them
- Ensure smooth operations across business with robust processes and review mechanisms, and tackle all challenges related to scaling up the business
- Build and lead an empowered team
- Establish good tracking mechanisms of metrics for marketing and consumer satisfaction, and constantly look to learn and improve on the same
- 10+ years of experience in consumer facing businesses with an exposure to scaling up online businesses, brand building and P&L management
- Have an entrepreneurial mindset and a sharp analytical mind- Be able to grasp and understand new business concepts, and guide him/herself through difficult/ambiguous situations
- Have a deep understanding of consumer, and how to build a brand
- Possess a robust know-how of digital marketing and online businesses
- Have a strong drive and passion to scale up new businesses
- Have the ability and agility to work in a startup environment
