Chief Executive Officer - FMCG (15-25 yrs)
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement the organization's strategic plan in collaboration with the board or owner(s). Define and communicate the organization's vision, mission, and objectives.
- Leadership: Provide strong leadership, motivate staff, and foster a positive and inclusive work culture. Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback.
- Financial Management: Oversee financial operations and ensure financial stability. Make informed financial decisions to maximize profitability.
- Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
- Business Development: Identify growth opportunities, partnerships, and new markets. Develop and execute strategies to expand the organization's reach and impact.
- Stakeholder Relations: Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, customers, investors, and community partners. Represent the organization in a professional and positive manner.
- Human Resources: Manage the hiring, development, and retention of top talent. Ensure the organization's workforce is aligned with its strategic goals.
- Compliance: Ensure that the organization complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Communication: Effectively communicate the organization's progress, challenges, and successes to the board, staff, and stakeholders.
- Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly evaluate and report on the organization's performance against these metrics.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business, management, etc.). An MBA or advanced degree is often preferred.
- Proven experience in leadership and executive management roles, ideally in a similar industry.
- Strong strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Financial acumen and budget management experience.
- Visionary thinking with the ability to translate vision into action.
- Demonstrated ability to drive growth and profitability.
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
