Chief Executive Officer - Education & Health Care  Introduction :   The organisation is a Corporate Social Responsibility arm of a leading infrastructure company with a mandate to develop social infrastructure and enhance the quality of life of communities around the locations of the Group's presence, focusing broadly on education, health, hygiene, sanitation, empowerment, livelihood, and community development. Today, the Foundation's activities and initiatives are spread across the country. This non-profit (Section 25) company has its own professional staff selected from top academic and social work institutions, is governed by a Board chaired by Group Chairman.   Reason for hire :   The Group is looking to hire a CEO - Education & Health Care for their Foundation. The CEO will be responsible to lead the smooth functioning of the hospitals for providing the excellent health care services and grow the vertical providing leadership support to the Hospital team. The incumbent will also lead the Education Wing which comprises of an Institute of Technology, Colleges and 4 schools and will be responsible for excellent functioning of the Institutions. S/he will need to build a strategic roadmap for the development of the institutions to make a positive impact on the community and provide Thought Leadership to both verticals, integrating the teams, business process, operational efficiency and governance.  Roles and Responsibilities :  Hospital :   - Revenue Generation for the Hospital - To lead all the activities and initiatives of the hospital to achieve the overall revenue target as per AOP forecast, Cash and cash flow.   - Ensure Ethical and updated Medical practices in the hospital  - Ensure profitability of the pharmacy, labs, radiology, etc. as per the AOP provisions  - Give Strategic Direction to the Business Development Initiatives of the Hospital to increase the reach of the hospital in the neighboring districts and border districts of neighboring states.  - Network with Clinical Practioners/ Doctors/Surgeons and other super specialists to render periodic Super Specialty services in the Hospital.  - Ensure constant monitoring of the Income and Expenditure of the Hospital and take necessary initiatives to achieve profitability along with control over expenditure.   - Understand the Market requirement and establish specialties, super specialties or center of excellence in the hospital.  - Give Strategic Directions for more number of empanelment with Government Healthcare Schemes and Corporates to increase the footfall of the hospital.  - To network and visit renowned hospitals to study and implement the best practices.  - To work towards NABH accreditation of the Hospital.  Education :  - To finalize the Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan for the entire Education Wing and review the expenses   - Work towards the highest degree of Accreditations from NAAC, NBA etc. for all the Institutions.  - To interact and maintain good relations with all external agencies, like JNTU, AICTE, NBA, UGC, State and Education Department, DST, and other Governmental organizations, as well as relevant non-governmental agencies, like sundry publications and accreditation bodies, with which the Institute has close interface.   - To tap the research grants from funding agencies viz., DST, AICTE, UGC, DRDO, and introduce the Institute to as many of such opportunities as possible.  - To ensure appropriate systems and processes for an autonomous institution and movement towards attaining a University status, as and when a decision to that effect is taken.  - To scan the environment, plan and take an appropriate action to introduce new programs in line with the market demand.  - To ensure affiliations and approval of all the related works with Universities, AICTE, UGC, APSCHE, and Govt. of AP for all the Institutions  - Institutional Tie Up with Industry/Premier Institution for Industry Institute Interface and Academic Exchange Programs  - Strengthening of the brand at National level by participating in the various Ranking surveys in the country and ensure incremental growth in the rank at a National Level.  - Work towards placement of students in the leading industry by making them Industry ready, Successful implementation of the Siemens lab at the campus and enhance the lab activities - Design, Content and delivery.  - To ensure relevant Add-on courses and electives courses are offered in collaboration with the industry to enhance the placement opportunities.  - To ensure the Technology initiatives and campus IT infrastructure is updated from time to time.  - To ensure oversight of all the educational initiatives under the Education Wing of the Foundation and represent the Foundation in the LMCs and LACs as the Alternate Chairman to the CEO.  - To manage the ongoing partnerships of Schools with the partnering institutions or manage them independently, as may be optimal.  - Manage high-quality website, brochure, social media, and relevant marketing material for presenting the college in the best possible light.  - Overseeing the quality of teaching in SGCRC and related Colleges, and ensure quality placement.  Stakeholder Management :   S/he will have to interact with a wide range of external and internal stakeholders to meet the accountabilities.  COMPETENCIES & SOFT SKILLS :   Leadership :  - Ability to manage a total workforce of around 700 pertaining to both Health care and Education.  - Have excellent team-building skills and orientation to managing and developing high-quality talent within the organization.  - Excellent organization, delegation, performance management, administration, analytical, negotiation, and time management skills. Self-motivated with the ability to set standards and meet goals.   - Have a high level of energy and a commitment to excellence as it relates to all of the functional areas under his/her direction and control.  Communication and Networking Skills :   - Excellent communicator, ability to listen and to understand situations, and to present thoughts in a simple and convincing manner, at the appropriate time.   - Effective success in developing a network of collaborative partnerships with all relevant stakeholders.  - Excellent written and oral communications skills to communicate clearly and persuasively with multiple stakeholders.   Must Haves :  - Master's degree / Post Graduate from a premier institute  - Should have more than 25 years of experience with minimum 10 years of experience in heading a large size Education & Health care business with P&L responsibility.  - Should have sound knowledge of issues surrounding regulatory compliance in an environment of an autonomous institution.  - Should have the capability towards adjacency creation for Education wing and creation of Health care approach to the society  - Should have excellent communication skills, collaborative approach, leadership capability to enhance teamwork and relationships with the stakeholders both internal and external.
