Chief Executive Officer - Cargo Airlines (15-25 yrs)

Position: CEO X Airlines

Summary: X Airline is a X Cargo arm with current revenues of about 75 crores per month. Its vision is to grow 10X over the next 5 years exapnding its footprint from the current Airport to Airport Cargo provider to become the partner of choice for end to end air based logistics solutions for businesses as well as the most reliable partner for delivering end customer couriers includine last mile pickup and delivery. In the B2C segement SpiceXpress will pay special attention to underserved but growing smaller towns within India. SpiceXpress is looking for a CEO that can build this company and deliver on the vision.

Market Positioning:

- To change the market positioning of the Cargo business

Develop Strategies/Verticals :

- Develop Strategies to make the organization from a 1000 cr to 10X(Num can be changed) through a systematic Revenue plan

- Increase cash flow of the company

- Increase the cash flow of the company by getting VC/investment and depute funds in areas to enhance profitability

Plan the investment :

- Plan the investment in the right Direction to make the company profitable.

Vision :

- Person should be a visionary and should be able to unleash his innovation by creating a vision as well giving direction to the company.

- Also integrate personnel through Vision,Mission,Values and organizational structural Structure to ensure employees meet organizational objectives.

a) PNL Management :

- Person would be responsible for the PNL, business plan and an annual operating plan. Achievement of targets in quantitative terms, finalize annual budgets, monitoring performance against budgets.PNL would also include below:

b) Top Line: Increase the Top line as per budgeted number (1000 cr to 10x)

c) Operational Budget :

- Ensure that all expenses are in line with the Opex Budget. Closely monitor the operation cost of all LOBs, review the Opex on a monthly basis and take measures to control cost. 

d) Net Margin:

Achieve the budgeted Net Margin as per plan on a month-on-month basis and region-wise basis . Micromanage the performances of the Branches.

Review the GM, Ops cost, Opex and Collections to achieve the desired Net Margin

e) Gross Margin :

Monitor the GM vs the Target every month with the Location Head and also discuss / interact with Director Sales in enhancing the Gross Margin for all Branches / Regions

f) Develop all LOBs GM :

- Have a clear road map to achieve the GM LOB-wise. Ensure that all lines of business are developed in line with Budget plans and interact with Product head for strategies to implement and develop all LOBs.

Governance Structure/Organizational structure:

- To ensure that correct Organizational and Governance Structure is in place including policies, procedures, values and long term planning along with the shareholders to meet the mission of the organization

- Consolidate all business unit and shared services into a cohesive unit-Leverage business opportunities by Integrating and optimizing Freight, Warehousing, Transportation and distribution

Area Expansion :

- Identify the areas for Business Development and Expansion. Develop upcountry markets in each region for market penetration and coverage and build client base and Gross Margins from these areas.

Short/Medium term Goals :

- Plan and execute for Short/Medium and Long term Goals related with business growth, cash flow, Account receivables debt and equity

- Market Trends and Forecast

- Close monitoring of the marketing programs involved, analysing market trends and forecast

Quality Manpower :

- Interact with Director HR To build a highly motivated team and ensure all lines of business have the right quality manpower in place to meet the planned numbers & service levels 

- Align the KRA's of Directors, Managers and employees to meet the organizational objectives

- Creation of a Strong Sales organization comprising to ensure high level market penetration Plan,

- Develop and implement strategy to meet agreed performance plans within timeframes.

Quality Implementation :

- To interact with Director HR for quality implementation in all the regions and monitor the SOP in all areas of our business 

Compliance :

To ensure that Compliances/Ethical practices are followed in the organization and have strict control on the same

Yield Enhancement :

To maintain the yield in line with the planned numbers in all lines of business . Review the Operation Cost and control them to increase the yield . Special focus on Transaction cost

Customer Service :

To review all operations in the regions and ensure that that processes and SOPs are followed, resulting in a high level of customer service .
