Client is an upcoming insure-tech player. Primarily relying on contextual products that are easily accessible, affordable, easy to understand, and backed by a brilliant claims experience could reduce a significant financial risk for a majority of Indians.
Role Description :
We prefer you come from a startup mentality where you have developed a successful offline or hybrid channel or scaled existing networks multiple folds. You would be hands-on for the first few months to establish relationships and understand what is to be done.
You likely would be -
- Building or scaling insurance proposition on top of an existing retail or hybrid (digital and retail) networks with appropriate vendor engagement and sales strategies
- Managing and building the distribution channels with regular monitoring of sales and collections
- Modeling and evaluating the appropriate strategy to enter new markets
- Identifying and networking with distributors for deeper market penetration
- Working in tandem with the marketing team for customer acquisition by executing brand promotion activities
- Working closely with dealers and distributors and assist them to promote the company's products and be a SPOC for PAN India vendors for vendor reconciliation, ledgers & invoicing
- Ensuring successful New Product Launches in terms of both distribution and volume and working closely with the product team for building of efficient technology platform for client servicing
- Planning and preparing processes for vendor on-boarding, merchant tie-ups and payment processes
Candidate Profile
- You will closely collaborate with the CEO, CTO and the Head of Product to collaborate on a product strategy and technology roadmap at the onset. There will be daily check points on discussions around data analytics and growth of business.
- Degrees don- t matter to us but definitely a degree or good experience in sales, marketing and distribution helps.
- You should know your and team's limitations but can identify experts to fill these gaps.
- You will be responsible for hiring the core development team from here on. You should able to identify and attract talent that aren- t just gifted but will help shape the culture of the business.
- You should have proven project management skills using any standard methodology. You should have experience in managing multiple projects while communicating with the development team and other business units.
- Strategic thinking and strong business acumen are essential in this role. If you are also an excellent communicator and public speaker, we- d like to meet you.
- We are customer experience company. So you should have a singular focus both on internal and external customers at all times. You will be asked to attend support calls, engage in usability testing, analyse customer data to take user-centered decisions. You may have to blog and speak at conferences or possibly with customers directly about the business value of our products.

- Preliminary screening of the candidates will be done using the resume. A phone interview may be followed by an onsite interview at our Gurgaon office. The salary will have a competitive base component along with a percentage of ESOPs and bonus as appropriate.
