Chief Compliance Officer - Bank

Opening is with one of the Leading Financial services firm

Skill set required: Banking experience, Competent Resource who will head the Compliance, Company Secretarial and legal functions

Role:

1. Interact with Regulators and represent Bank positions on key statutory and regulatory guidelines, legislations and discussions

2. Interact with management internally and communicate compliance requirements and provide interpretations to ambiguities, grey areas in regulations

3. Interact and network with Industry stakeholders to understand industry/peer positions on compliance related areas

4. Be responsible for all activities of the compliance department including compliance reviews, checklists, Anti money laundering systems and procedures, compliance policies, etc

5. Be responsible for statutory and secretarial compliance and oversee the Company Secretarial function

6. Oversee legal function and ensure proper management of legal agreements and take a consolidated view of compliances across regulators, statutory bodies and secretarial requirements

7. Member to various executive committees of the Bank and represent compliance position on key decisions points.

Required skill sets include:

1. Proficient in RBI regulatory requirements

2. Familiar and willing to master other regulatory requirements such as SEBI, IRDAI, PFRDA, UIDAI etc

3. Proficient in company law requirements

4. Legal compliance and legal matters for the bank
