Chief Commercial Officer - Global MNC COMPANY BACKGROUND : - Large billion dollar global group having interests in communication, data, digital, consulting, PR, digital business transformation with 4000 employees across 9 cities. With multiple organisation brands serving over 700 clients. Provides superior services to the worlds and India's largest companies. - Given the scale and complexity, as well as the need for speed and sharp insighting, the Group CFO seeks a trusted and experienced commercial professional in smart contracting, policy making, client and vendor centralised common approach that support the groups financial health and business strategy. POSITION DESCRIPTION : - The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) will be responsible for standardised SMART client contracting across verticals like Creative, Media, Digital, specialist units like PR, Production, consulting, data, commerce etc. This includes standard formats, policies, must have clauses. Centrally drive common agenda for standardising all SMART vendor contracts with all must clauses across various verticals. - Will also work closely with procurement team in consolidation of vendors and bring in related benefits (Volume benefits, value additions etc,). Maximising the benefits of consolidation is the key role. Work with Group Company CFOs and their commercial teams and be the SPOC centrally for all clarity required on client terms, providing insights and alerts (domestic, global, MNC clients) across units. - He/She will be responsible for driving various compliance and governance policies of the Group (Global, Local) through regular trainings, communication, checks and controls as applicable. He/She will be responsible for driving effective pricing models (from a consultative approach) for various streams and work closely with agency CFOs during times of pitch, negotiation with clients. He/she will work very closely with Group CFO on this agenda. HIRING PROFILE : - Top tier full-time MBA in Finance / CA with specialist capabilities in the finance commercial function, ideally based in Mumbai. Must have some experience in global media/ advertising agencies. Overall 18-22 years, of which at least 8 years in commercial/ compliance. The rest may be in business finance. - MNC / Global company experience mandatory. Deep understanding of contracts, especially smart contracting. The individual must be highly analytical, with an ability to solve complex problems. The individual must have skills to think out of box in terms automation of information flow and remove all routine work by simplifying processes and removing all duplication. - A high level of commercial acumen. More of a thinker than just a doer. Very innovative and always challenging the status quo. Hands on working style. Ability to connect with leaders in the market be it client connect and vendor connect. Proficient articulation and presentation skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills. Very strong influencing capabilities mandatory.
