As a member of C-Suite, participate in the company's strategic planning. - Understanding the market trends and regulations to provide and efficient and effective manner to deliver a high level of customer satisfaction and a profitable claims experience through the creation/implementation of direct and indirect business claim handling procedures and risk management processes. - Responsible for Analysis of existing claims strategy to ascertain effectiveness. Understand and utilize internal claim best practices for proper and consistent claim performance, compliance, and achievement of business goals. - Develop and implement appropriate claims strategy in conjunction with the other stakeholders like, Appointed Actuary, CFO, UW, Sales teams - Lead in the development, implementation and continuous planning of all claim programs, metrics, processes, results, and initiatives. - Ensure sound litigations management practices, including detailed review of legal bills using appropriate tools, attend mediations, arbitrations, depositions, trials, as necessary - Other responsibilities will include ensuring that the level of claim case reserves from all direct and indirect business accurately reflects the most probable outcome. - 15 - 20 years of general claims experience with excellent technical knowledge of the non-life claims management - Very good people management, interpersonal and leadership skills. - Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task and to independently prioritize competing demands/requests - Ability to exercise independent judgment, effectively make sound business decisions, and resolve unique and challenging business problems - Team Size of ~ 250 personnel
