This person has the capability of scaling operations and revenue with short term and long term plan. Job Description: - We are looking for an experienced Chief Business Officer/ CBO to supervise and control all strategic and business aspects of the Business Unit. Shall be the first in command in the Function/ Business Unit and responsible for giving the proper strategic direction as well as creating a vision for success. - This is a leadership position that requires the CBO to draw a business strategic vision imbibing technical and delivery based business operations involving all group companies. To thrive as a CBO you must be a prudent manager and an inspiring leader. - The ideal candidate will have a business mindset and will be able to see the - big picture- in a variety of settings. Will take actions to enhance the Business Unit 's cash flow while keeping the human factor in perspective. The goal is to drive Business Unit's development and guide it towards long-term success Responsibilities: - Lead/inspire/motivate and develop the senior management team by effectively establishing priorities, goals and resourcing plans that lead to a unified culture and aligned business units. - Effectively leverage OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) or MBOs (Management By Objectives) to drive clarity and alignment through the organization. - Develop the Business Unit 's ability to incubate and accelerate new product/category initiatives. - Develop a standard of high performing, well-coordinated teams across all business units capable of supporting accelerated growth and rapid adoption of new technologies, services and partners. - Drive the financial decision-making and risk management. - Develop high quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives - Own, refine and monitor performance measures that support the strategy and operating plans. - Prepare and lead the organization through periods of acquisition integration as per plan/requirement. - Build a scalable, operationally excellent technology/service delivery organization. - Define, build and manage a scalable and flexible organization structure. - Lead overall corporate strategy. - Create a culture of metrics driven accountability balanced effectively with client centricity - Drive the Business Unit 's annual strategy, budget and planning exercises. - Enhance the organization's ability to innovate in designing product offerings, positioning and operating models. - Oversee change initiatives with comprehensive planning and smooth execution. - Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission - Make high-quality investing decisions to advance the business and increase profits - Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the Business Unit 's legality and business ethics - Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements - Build trust relations with key partners and stakeholders and act as a point of contact for important shareholders - Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure survival and growth Competency Profile: - BE &amp; MBA with minimum 15 years of experience.
