Job Title: Chief Business Officer - Loan Against Securities
Location: Mumbai
Role & Responsibility:
- Developing and implementing business strategies to grow the LAS (HNI + Retail), ESOP & Institutional Business portfolio, drive revenue and profitability, and establish the company as a leading player in the market.
- Lead, organize and drive business vertical; Tie Up, Build and engage partners; Monitor customer activation initiatives to achieve targeted business growth, profitability, minimize loss rate & drive new initiatives to grow profitability - within the overall Client Capitall Markets business strategy and objectives and organizational policies and guidelines
- Creating business plans with over 100+ partners across their journey
- Analyze the potential of new and existing relationships, evaluate their future performance to prepare a growth plan for the e-commerce business
- Estimate the number of transactions, marketing and promotional expenditure to activate customers to prepare the budget
- Forecast loss rates, partnerships activation, conduct manpower planning and prepare risk metrices to develop the business plan for the vertical
- Strategize & drive new initiatives & projects to increase the profitability of the business
- Present the plan to senior management for review and feedback and get a sign-off
- Create & deliver optimized customer journeys
- Creating actionables on Approval Rates & portfolio performance
- Cascade monthly AOP targets to own sales team, provide inputs and develop action plans to meet defined sales target
- Conduct daily & monthly review with the team on business metrics and targets to review the performance of business and provide inputs
- Engage with internal IT team to build & invest in systems to ensure stability during peak times, smooth handling of huge volumes, higher payment success rates, etc.
- Continuously engage with partners to drive new initiatives around higher volumes & payment success rate
- Weekly reviews with Operations team around reconciliation of transactions & timely payment to customers
- Detailed funnel reviews to optimize customer journeys & create new opportunities for improvement
- End to end P&L management and ensure that both above and below the line items are managed effectively
- Identify potential HNI clients through referral networks, prepare, update and review the list of potential customers to add clients to the customer funnel.
- Partnering with Product, Marketing and Sales teams to create targeted marketing campaigns.
- Managing relationships with existing customers to ensure their satisfaction and retention
- Identifying and launching new services that meet the evolving needs of customers. This will involve conducting market research, partnering with product development teams, and working closely with sales and marketing teams to launch new products and services
- Developing and managing all the business's budgets which will involve working closely with the finance department to create a detailed budget that reflects the business's revenue and expenses.
- Forecasting revenue and expenses for the all the businesses which will involve analyzing market trends, historical data, and other factors that may impact revenue and expenses.
- Review the potential/profitability of new and existing customer segments along with risk team to take corrective actions
- Setting guidelines for disbursement amounts, disbursement timelines, and documentation requirements.
- Ensuring that the funds are disbursed in accordance with the business's policies and procedures.
- Identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team that are critical to the success of the business, such as revenue growth, customer acquisition, and risk management.
- Reviewing existing incentive structures that align with the business's performance goals. Creating bonus structures, commission plans, or other incentive programs that motivate team to meet or exceed performance benchmarks.
- Making adjustments to performance parameters and incentives based on changing business conditions or feedback from employees. Revising performance metrics, adjusting performance benchmarks, or modifying incentive structures to ensure that they remain effective.
Experience & Skills required:
- Minimum 18+ years of work experience
- Understanding of P&L management
- Strong team management skills
- Strong Interpersonal skills to work with various cross-functional units
- Masters in business administration
- Experience in equity and wealth management, and knowledge of broking fraternity
