We are looking for the role of Chief Business Officer/Senior Vice President - Growth, for a leading startup of student living space. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Financial: - Responsible for P&L for Student Co-living Business & ensure achievement of budgeted EBITDA. To drive revenue growth via multiple channels : - Acquisition of new clients - Increase bouquet of products / services currently being offered - Partnerships in Offline/Online Environment. - Identify various upselling which can be done. - Penetration into new geographies as required. - Develop and own the business strategy, along with sales forecast, revenue projection, right pricing. - Develop right marketing strategy to make organization a global brand. - Work/Liason with Investor community to present business growth and play an influential role as a leader. Customer: - Build strong inter personal relationship with Universities/Colleges/Students/Coaching Institutes and Academic Leaders to ensure high customer confidence & satisfaction - Engagement & relationship management at peer level in the Industry & also with the Regulators, Government Departments, Law Agencies etc. - Institute robust communication channels with the clients & proactively manage escalations. Process: - Strategize & ensure seamless transition /migration of processes for various clients - Adherence to Project Plan (cost & timelines) across People, Process and Systems - Ensure smooth & timely resolution of operational issues - Ensure optimum productivity & quality - Get in place robust dash board/reporting for timely & continuous review and required corrective interventions - Get in place proper business continuity plan to de-risk against any contingency People: - Ensure highly capable team build-up across the levels - Ensure retention of key talent and thus make them grow - Ensure succession planning KEY COMPETENCIES & SKILLS: - Agile, passionate, energetic, a live wire. - Should be able to work in chaotic high growth environment. - Should be emotionally strong to handle stakeholders (Internal/External - Government/Legal) at all levels. - Ideal candidate will be someone with 12+ years of Experience with education from premium pedigree MBA/Graduation with excellent track record. - Has handled Large Business P&L/teams and scaled up from the scratch - Startup/Internet/Ecommerce industry experience is added advantage - Ambitious and able to drive through change while leading People
