Looking to hire Chief Business Officer for Global IT Solutions Firm, headquartered at United States.

Reporting Manager Title: President

Location : Pune / Bangalore / Hyderabad

Role Purpose:

We are seeking a talented, motivated and driven Chief Business Officer (CBO) for the growing opportunities in Asia, Middle East and India.

The incumbent will play a leadership role within the business being the executive in charge of the Business Development Department. In this position, the CBO will be responsible for the direct management of key marketing and communications objectives aimed at maximizing new business effectiveness, for example, PR, digital, and so forth. The CBO will also manage and prioritize the business's pipelines and will additionally oversees the generation of proposals that are suited to prospective clients' with the support of the marketing and design teams.

The CBO will support the business development team by providing support to individual departments, inclusive of overseeing key member recruitment and training, hence, ensuring a consistent stellar performance throughout the business development department. In this position, the Chief Business Development Officer will play a key mentorship role to key business development personnel, assisting in the execution of their duties upon request, and promoting the constant development of their professional skills, readying them to take up larger responsibilities if and when required.

In order to be successful, the incumbent must have experience in Solution selling for IT services companies. Experience and exposure to Digital Transformation will also be a key ingredient. The CBO will develop strategic relationships with prospects and will be responsible for taking opportunities from lead through contract. A natural and charismatic leader with the ability to form relationships with C Suites and should possess strong integrity and a drive to succeed. The CBO will be reporting directly to the Company's President.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership (Max 5-7):

- Develop and implement strategies to position the brand with clients.

- Collaborate with the leadership team at the organization to prepare a business plan for the sales vertical, estimate sales potential, identify key clients, and collaboration opportunities.

- Identify, build and strengthen professional relationships with senior and C-level client executives, and expand the professional network.

- Play an active role in driving lead generation activities, soliciting new accounts and capturing competitive pursuits

- Create/ identify multi- million-dollar opportunities using visionary industry knowledge, intellectual capital, , knowledge of the shifting market landscape, and company service offerings

- Collaborate with other internal teams' leaders to prepare large proposals and program plans with clear and compelling value proposition

- Accountable for on-boarding new team members into the practice and/ or project teams to build a high performing team. Provide executive-level oversight, communication and guidance to the team to build high morale and position programs for successful, effective client delivery.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience (Max 5-7):

- MUST have experience in Solution selling for IT services companies

- Must have demonstrated ability and maturity to sell and build relationships with C-Level executives

- Must have a background as a contributor in Sales and New Business.

- Excellent network in the industry and ability to find new logo clients.

- Strong strategic thinking, problem solving and analytical skills

- Excellent business acumen and proven negotiation skills.

- Efficient go-to-market execution skills.

Must have technical / professional qualification:

- Must have 10-18 years of relevant business development experience selling IT services to Fortune 500 customers

- A master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or any other related business field position.

- Revenue and Revenue growth rate

- Offshore capability enhancement

- Contribution Margin threshold

- Expenses
