Chief Architect - Banking Domain - IT

Role: Chief Architect (Experience in banking domain is mandatory)

Job description:

To play functional leadership role (IT architecture & technology) for multiple SBUs and programs of strategic importance within the BFS vertical. In this role, the candidate will be working closely with SBU leadership and at times Client Architects to play a leading role in technology consulting, thought leadership, architecture delivery, innovation and business development support.

Key competencies include:

- Hands on architecture & technology leadership experience

- Excellent leadership, decision making, analytical and communication skills

- Ability to interact with client's leadership teams such as LOBs heads, CxOs and Chief Architects

- Capability and experience in working in organizational dynamics of a large IT services firms

- Very good documentation and formal specification development skills

- Broad exposure / experience across SOA, Contemporary Web channel solutions, large scale distributed systems design and implementation

Knowledge and Experience:

- Hands-on knowledge in the below areas:

- EA frameworks, integration & data architecture

- SOA & technologies involved in contemporary SOA

- Open systems such as Java / JEE and Microsoft .NET stack

- Exposure to BPM, Business Rules, Workflows and similar middleware technologies

- Platform based, framework driven software solutions development

- Architecture governance, complexity reduction and technology selection

- NFRs, SLAs and their Architectural impact

- Architecture assessment tools and methods

- Good grasp on omni-channel solutions and technology stacks based on HTML5, JavaScript, Node.js, AngularJS etc

- Familiarity with mobile solutions development and social media solution integration

- Good grasp (experience added advantage) of NoSQL / big data technologies and analytics.

- SOA Infrastructure and Platform NFRs

- Financial Industry messaging standards (SWIFT, ISO20022, FIX etc.)

- Some familiarity with DW BI & ETL platforms will be plus
